Welcome and Opening Plenary: Forging a Positive Future

To frame the day our nine charity partners and sponsor will be set out the key themes and aspirations for this year’s event.

The conference will then be addressed by Rob Wilson, Minister for Civil Society, who will be joined by young people from across the partners’ networks for a Q&A on the big issues that they care about, and what government and others can do to forge a bright future for young people and youth organisations across the UK.

The panel for this session also includes Fatima Manji from Channel 4, UK Youth’s CEO Anna Smee, the Chair of British Youth Council Anna Rose Barker, Elliot Goat from the Youth Opportunity Party and Brendan Quirk, a UK Youth Voice member.
